Vernissagen för Årets bild 2013 gick av stapeln 24.3 i Arken. Omkring 45 personer deltog i festligheterna. Till den årligt återkommande tävlingen fick Pictura i år motta sammanlagt 63 bidrag. Av dessa valdes de 20 bästa av en extern jury för att delta i utställningen. Juryn bestod av fotograferna Vanessa Forstén, Lotta Djupsund, Aino Aksenja och Anna Smolina samt fotoklubben Knäppisarna. Kvällen inleddes med en föreläsning av konstfotograf Fia Doepel.

 

Under kvällens lopp belönades även fotograferna till de tre bästa bilderna:

1. “Cowboy” av Saara Oinonen.

Saara belönades med ett presentkort för en fotobok till Kameraboden.

2. “Stone giant” av Gennady Kurushin.

Gennady belönades med biobiljetter.

3. “Blueberry surprise” av Christel Sourander.

Christel belönades med fribiljetter till ÅST.

The opening of the Photo of the year exhibition took place on March 24th in Arken. About 45 people were able to attend the festivities. This year Pictura received 63 submissions for the annual competition, 20 of which were chosen by an external jury to take part in the exhibition. The jurymembers were photographers Vanessa Forstén, Lotta Djupsund, Aino Aksenja, Anna Smolina and fellow photo club Knäppisarna. The evening was opened with a lecture by artist and photographer Fia Doepel.

 

The photographers with the three winning pictures were awarded during the evening:

1. “Cowboy” by Saara Oinonen.

Saara received a gift card for a photo book to Kameraboden.

2. “Stone giant” by Gennady Kurushin.

Gennady received movie tickets to Finnkino.

3. “Blueberry surprise” by Christel Sourander.

Christel received theatre tickets to ÅST.
